Birthdaaaayy!
Woohoo I'm 17!! It feels no different, but it never does xD
My beautiful Vanessa came over around 10, and we had our new traditional pancake breakfast ;) we chilled out for a bit afterwards, but then Ness had to go revise :( It was so nice to see her though.
When she left I did some statistics revision, then went with Mum, Grandma and Uncle Phil to pick Dom up from school :) I had to do more stats revision when we got home, but I stopped revising around 5.30 to start enjoying the festivities again.
Dad came over at 6.15 and I opened my presents - it was such a good haul this year (not that it isn't every year)! I got my driving course, a £200 Amazon voucher, a £100 H&M voucher, £160 cash, some earrings, three bracelets, a necklace, an Alexander McQueen shirt (MENTAL NOTE: I need to exchange it for a smaller size), a bag and some chocolate/honey-roasted nuts from my favourite shop at Wimbledon station xD I'M SO SPOILED.
Some of my cards were absolutely lovely - the one from Nessa practically had me in tears, and my Mum left one outside my door last night at 11.45 (the time I was actually born) which I didn't read until this morning, but that was really sweet too. I've stuck them both on my wall :)
Yah, so after the presents we had our Chinese food (essentially everything on the menu), then hung out and had some Birthday cake ^_^ It was a really nice evening.
Yaaayy for Birthdays! Only 364 days until the next one!
... Holy shit, I'm gonna be 18.

Four exams in one day...
I'M SO GLAD TODAY IS OVER.
The R.S. papers weren't too bad :) I chose philosophy questions on Augustine's theodicy and natural evil, and on Kant's moral arguement for God; then in ethics I answered questions on the issues surrounding a right to a child, and on religious attitudes to war.
During lunch I had this cool chat with my invigilator - he told me all about how he used to work in banking and how his sister really liked German too, so she spent time as an au pair in Germany and then got a job at Heathrow doing announcements in both English and German :)
The Maths exams were okay I think - there was one C1 question I wasn't too sure about, but the questions were mainly do-able...
When I got home Uncle Phil was here, and we all went to Zizzi for dinner :D
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW <3

One down, ten to go.
I think History went okay, thank god! There was a question on the Bolsheviks' consolidation of power and one on Korea (praise Jesus), and those are both topics I like, so that was cool :)
I reaaaaaallllyyyy hope I don't have to re-take... All that content again would kill me.
Tomorrow, I saw goodbye to being 16 with a bang. Four exams. Eight essays in three hours. Two Maths papers. Nine hours in a little room with an invigilator.
Thank you so much, Edexcel and OCR :')

Piñata cookie tutorial
It wouldn’t be a piñata without a candy surprise in the middle! These multi-striped, burro piñata sugar cookies are frosted together in sets of 3’s. The middle cookies have hollow centers so that you can fill them with a secret stash of mini M&M’s. That way, when you break open or bite into the cookie, the M&M’s come spilling out. Just like a real piñata. Olé!
Maybe Soup is currently being updated? I'll try again automatically in a few seconds...
